Gleeful?

We're just glad that someone is showing that no public official is above the law.

Save your tired "Common Cause is happy because Cheney is a Republican" crap.

Just stow that patter right now, mi hijo.

We're encouraged by this ruling because it means SOMEBODY in this country believes the laws matter and we have the right to know who Dick Cheney has been associating with. Now, is it the final ruling? No, but it makes sense that they should tell us who's been visiting him.

If the man has nothing to hide, the documents will speak for themselves. But the longer he protests, the more it seems something is rotten.

My favorite sparring partner

It's James' decision if he wants to answer this or not, but La Perla knows my stance on this.  I don't believe it's anyone's business what my personal political beliefs or affiliations are outside of what I choose to express on this blog.  You know my opinion on ethics reform and campaign finance reform, but that doesn't mean you're entitled to my opinion of the Iraq War or who I voted for in the last election.  Political beliefs are deeply personal, and just because you want to know doesn't mean we should tell you.

Then there's also my conviction that if I tell you I'm a Democrat, you'll discount everything I write as partisan spin, and if I say I'm a Republican or Independent, you'll call me a liar.
