Hey, who you calling a fraud?

Adan missed the point of my blog post. The conservatives have been pushing for photo ID requirements in state after state because they contend that there is a hige amount of voter fraud (a contention for which there is no documentation). Then, one of their own spokespeople goes out and commits voter fraud.

Anyone familliar with our history knows that Common Cause has no problem criticizing officials from all parties.

Re: Hey, who you calling a fraud?

Although I couldnt say whether Barb Burt is a fraud or not, here are some things I can say:

  1. Barb doesn't deny the fact that she is a Democrat, therefore allowing the assumption that will be made by many, that her attacks against Ann Coulter (assuming they are even true) are politically motivated.

  2.  Barb conveniently avoids the Air America scandal comment made by Adan. Probably because It doesnt fit her Liberal agenda to make us, the Common Cause members aware of the fact that Evan Cohen, former CEO of Air America was charged with stealing from a charity to keep the Air America radio station going, along with the Al Frankin show.

  3. She criticizes conservatives for asking for photo ID, in order to prevent voter fraud, and then states there is no documentation to back up the fact of voter fraud, yet in her article she says she discovered an instance of voter fraud in Florida. So lets review, first she says there is no documentation of voter fraud, but then she  says there is voter fraud. Well if this is true that Ann Coulter committed voter fraud then maybe if someone had asked Ann for a Photo ID with her address on it, it might have stopped it form occurring. I guess based on what I have just read asking for ID sounds like a very good idea.

  4. In regards to this comment made by Barb: "Anyone familliar with our history knows that Common Cause has no problem criticizing officials from all parties."

If Common Cause is supposedly so neutral why are the staff unwilling to post what party they belong to and who they voted for in the last election?
