Nadersupporter, I'm not sure why you're accusing me of Washington Post adoration, when the article referenced in this post comes from the Associated Press.  

And while you may desire to see more Democrats targeted for ethics violations, we at Common Cause can't control when Members of Congress, their staff, or the people who lobby them, are going to come under legal fire.  The purpose of this post was to let readers of this blog know about a big news item that just developed -- the fact that it was about a Republican doesn't mean that it's not news, and that we shouldn't post it here.
