Which bill are you talking about?

This post is about the Holt Bill, regarding paper ballots for electronic voting machines.

As for the DC Voting Rights bill, obviously we at Common Cause, and the multitude of other groups and communities that support this bill, do not think it is unconstitutional.  Rather, it's unconscionable that a half-million citizens are being denied representation in Congress.  And I have news for you - since DC is not allowed to govern itself in every aspect, it is most certainly subject to the partisan politics of the members of the congressional committee that makes some of these decisions.  Just see the controversy over DC gun laws.
