Common Cause Ohio Will Ask for Recount

Cliff Arnebeck, Legal Affairs Committee Chair for Common Cause Ohio, and also the national co-chair and attorney for Alliance for Democracy, says that Common Cause/OH, in partnership with the Alliance for Democracy, intends to call for a nonpartisan/bipartisan statewide recount of the Presidential vote. Says Arenbeck:

We applaud the work Chellie Pingree and the national office have been doing on this already.

CC/OH is a sponsor of the hearings that will be held this Saturday of voting irregularities in Ohio, with a particular focus upon vote suppression that occurred in predominately Democratic/minority districts. As you probably know, there was a federal court finding of denial of voting rights in Franklin County. Henry Eckhart of our board provided one of the affidavits upon which this order issued from USDC Judge Marbley.

Arnebeck was slated to appear on Air America Radio around 4:30 PM to discuss this move.

FEMA paid off Florida voters

Thank you for your continuing activity on the 2004 election. I agree with the issues and problem areas that you will be discussing on Dec 7th. However the panel is missing one problem area that should be addressed. In south Florida the Bush administration paid off voters using tax payer money. Please check the articles in the Sun-Sentinel on 11/21 and 11/24. FEMA Funds were used to pay off voters. How can this be legal?  I have not heard any reports on this other than the local paper. Please investigate.
Thanks
R. Higgins

Why the delay?

Cliff Arnebeck and Common Cause know that the Electors will vote their mandate on 12/13/04. Why are they delaying the filing of their suit for electiion fraud?
