Cliff Arnebeck, Legal Affairs Committee Chair for Common Cause Ohio, and also the national co-chair and attorney for Alliance for Democracy, says that Common Cause/OH, in partnership with the Alliance for Democracy,
intends to call for a nonpartisan/bipartisan statewide recount of the Presidential vote. Says Arenbeck:
We applaud the work Chellie Pingree and the national office have been doing on this already.
CC/OH is a sponsor of the hearings that will be held this Saturday of voting irregularities in Ohio, with a particular focus upon vote suppression that occurred in predominately Democratic/minority districts. As you probably know, there was a federal court finding of denial of voting rights in Franklin County. Henry Eckhart of our board provided one of the affidavits upon which this order issued from USDC Judge Marbley.
Arnebeck was slated to appear on Air America Radio around 4:30 PM to discuss this move.
