Reform without enforcement is just words:

The Associated Press asked the four lawmakers who lead the ethics committees whether they would make a commitment to investigate ethical wrongdoing if, as expected, the information Abramoff supplies exposes misconduct by a number of lawmakers. Each of the four - two Republicans and two Democrats - declined, through his spokesmen, to do so.

Democratic Mayor Nagin makes racist remarks

In a speech given on MLK day in front of a multi-racial crowd, African-american mayor Ray Nagin implies that New Orleans is for blacks only and God, thats right, he stated GOD intended New Orleans to be for blacks, not for the rest of us Hispanic-Americans, white-Americans and Asian-americans. I wonder why the CC staff didnt put this one on their website?  Here is the link:

Racist Democrat Corrine Brown

After reading the blog by El profeto, it reminded me of another racist comment from a couple years ago, i had read about, by Democrat Corrine Brown of Florida, i believe she is a member of the NAACP.

After a briefing on the coup in Haiti, U.S. Representative Corrine Brown (Democrat from Florida) said President Bush's policy for the country was "racist" and engineered by "a bunch of white men." That didn't sit well with the president's man she was berating, Assistant Secretary of State Roger Noriega. "As a Mexican-American, I deeply resent being called a racist and branded a white man," he told her, but promised that he would "relay that to [Secretary of State] Colin Powell and [National Security Advisor] Condoleezza Rice the next time I run into them." Brown, who is black, said she was "absolutely not" apologetic for calling Noriega white, telling him "you all look alike to me." (Jacksonville, Fla., Times-Union) ...

Racism: an appalling slur on humanity, unless committed by a black Democratic politician.
