Life just isn't getting any easier for Representative Bob Ney (R-OH).  His involvement in the Abramoff scandal is under investigation by the Justice Department, and now comes the news that a second aide of his has been subpoenaed, not even two weeks after his District Director received a summons to testify.  Both staff members work in Ney's Ohio office, showing that this scandal isn't just staying in DC and will follow him until its resolution.

Seriously, though...this has been a horrible week for Abramoff's friends.  Grover Norquist, and now Ney.  Just goes to show that influence-peddling doesn't always pay off quite how you'd like it to.
